What kind of event can I have at sIXTHFLOOR?

Sixthfloor can handle all types of events such as corporate events, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, Quinceanearas are all easily accommodated. Sixthfloor accommodates up to 300 stand up and up to 250 seated.

Do I have to use one of the caterers from the preferred vendor list?

Indeed not we do encourage you to try our caterers, but if you have your own or simply want to provide your own cuisine, be our guest. There is not a charge.

What do the caterers provide, and do I contact them directly?

Your caterer will provide all food, china, table settings, and linens, and any other decorations you may wish to have them provide. Sixthfloor provides tables and chairs, the catered in bar service or you can simply bring in your own refreshments.

Your rental fee includes use of the space during a specific time period and supervision in conjunction with your caterer by the Sixthfloor staff and cleaning crew. The rental fee also includes tables, chairs and all accessory tables (includes 60″ dinner rounds or 6 or 8ft rectangular dinner tables).

Does Sixthfloor provide decorations for private events?

Decoration arrangements must be made with outside vendors of your choice. Sixthfloor has Up lighting that has many colors to light the walls and room along with other gorgeous lighting that can all be dimmed. Sixthfloor will allow additional hanging decorations provided they are pre-approved with the venue.

Can I have music at my event ?

Yes, you may have a band, DJ, or other music of your choice playing in your space during the event. We do have a system that filters through the ceiling and you can connect your IPAD or IPHONE.

Where can my guests park?

Sixthfloor has secure parking lots that are used for guest parking during events that are connected to the hotel. There are 4 other lots within a one block radius of our venue along with a lot of street parking.

When can I access the room before the event?

Whenever possible, Sixthfloor allows you to set up the day prior to your event. If that is not possible, you will have access to the room staring at 11am the day of your event.

Can I store materials for my event at SixthFloor?

Yes, We will allow storage of your materials prior to your event if we do not have anything taking up the space or storage. You also may pick up your decorations the day after your event if there is not an event that morning.

How and when may I secure my date for my event at SixthFloor?

Private events and Weddings are generally booked 6 months to one year in advance. Space is not confirmed until the rental contract and deposit are received.

What is the cancellation policy for events?

Once a contract has been signed and payment for deposit is made there is a 30 day cancellation fee and prior to the 30 days we charge a processing fee of $700.00. After 30 days your deposit is non-refundable. We do allow the client to change their date with out a charge or processing fee deducted.
